Service Description

Want to finally work on your codependency? This small group 6-week course will allow you to learn how to manage and control your own codependency, set healthy boundaries, detach, and redirect your energy back onto yourself, all within a safe and welcoming space. Six total 1-hr sessions from October 7th to November 11th, 2021 for the total price of $250. Replays available if you miss. Below is the agenda for each week. These are basic outlines of topics we will discuss. These may be adjusted depending on the needs of participants. Week 1: What is codependency? What are the traits? How does it negatively impact relationships? Week 2: How am I codependent? How does it negatively impact my relationships? How did I get it? What thoughts/behaviors are involved with them? Week 3: What are boundaries? What are they not? When should I set them? How do I set them? Week 4: What is detachment? How is it healthy? Why is it necessary? Week 5: What is a "drama triangle" and how am I in it? How do I move out of it? Week 6: What is "The Empowerment Dynamic?" How can I consistently be in that instead of the "Drama Triangle"? What can I do for self-care and moving forward? Learning objectives After completing this course, you will be able to: 1. Identify characteristics and patterns of behavior of codependency. 2. Understand what caused your own codependency (role models, certain relationships, etc.). 3. Identify negative/self-limiting thought patterns that contribute to codependent actions. 4. Understand what boundaries are and aren't. 5. Understand natural consequences and actions that come when your boundaries are violated. 6. Identify your own unhealthy codependent habits and see their healthy converses 7. Define detachment and how it actually shows empathy and selflessness. 8. Understand the Karpman drama triangle and how the codependent and the person they're in relationship with fit into that model. 9. Identify how to move into "The Empowerment Dynamic" instead. 10. List self-care and self-soothing activities.


Cancellation Policy

All sessions are nonrefundable. However, if you give us at least 24 hours notice of your need to cancel, we will credit your payment toward another session. However, if you do not cancel with at least 24 hours notice, you will lose any payments you have already made. To reschedule or cancel a session, please send an e-mail to tarablairball@gmail.com.
